2 Sept. 69 ~ Ho Chí Minh died in the morning, at his Hanoi home. He was 79. Cause of death was heart failure.

Dear Chris,
I got a letter from you. So I thought that I would answer it now. It makes me so happy when I receive a letter from you. Your letters are always so pleasant.
Well you ask me what my company does in the field? I wish that I could tell you but I can't. I can tell you that all I do is fix trucks and go after them when they are broken down.
Just think Chris. In a few short weeks we will be together for the first in a very long time. It still don't seam real yet. I guess that it probly won't until I am at home. Once I am home I promise to do anything that you want.

You also ask what kind of songs they play over here. Well we have one radio station over here. Sometimes they play good songs and then other times not so good.
Chris I have a lot of things on my mind. I guess maybe a lot of it is foolish. But I am so many miles a way from home. I hope that you and I can talk about a lot of things. I know that we will. Hey guess what in 25 days I will be with you. sounds great doesn't it. I only wish that I could have gotten home last month. Cause now you are back in school and we will miss a lot of each other during the day. But the nights together can be great. Well Chris I will close this letter for now. Remember that I love you and that I will see you soon. Write soon.
