Jim Fortune working on a generator ~ Korea

Jim is working on a generator in Korea. He jokingly tells Chris, he is actually just looking busy, but I think he is perhaps a bit modest.

Dear Chris,

I got your letter today and I also got from my father.

About the letter I wrote before. I meant what I said but it isn't I am

I didn't do whole lot today but drive after parts, trucks this morning. I went to cam point and picked up 15 tires, 5 voltage regulators, 50 value caps & 50 pounds of acid. Sounds real boring doesn't it? Well you guessed right, it is.

lonely. Sure I am. I miss home and everybody at home. But Chris I have cared what happens to you for a long time. You can ask Dianne. She knows it. About that date, I won't even try to get out of it. But I hope that we have more than just one.

Well Chris, just 44 more days and we can see each other. I get so happy just thinking of coming home. It will be so great.

So what have you been doing with your life? I hope you aren't mad at me or anything. How is the A, and Wallies doing? I bet they must have changed somewhat. Yes, by the way I am glad you haven't changed. I always liked you the way you were. But myself I  guess I have quite a bit. I am fatter, more uglier than ever and I also drink more. But I promise to go on a diet, wear makeup and to stay sober. I promise ok. Well Chris I will close for now. Write soon and oh yes where is that picture you said you would.

Yours and mine,
Jim
