Edward J. Thomas - World War II

Dear Issy & mac, (Sun. Aug 8, 1943)

How is your bowling going? In Sharon, PA they close in the summer. In Detroit, even if it’s hot at least you can still bowl. When I get back to Detroit I think it will be the first thing I do, even before tasting a highball or a bottle of Strohs.

How is National Automotive Fibers treating you? Are you busy? Are you doing the same jobs. I suppose Lt. Russ McCoy has written you since he left the state. I would possibly bump into him and have to salute. If you know Russ’ address let me know.
Bye-Bye Ed (Gives Issy & Mac his new address)
